Hello all,

I know there are a million threads abut gyms and fitness centers on this forum, but I did a search and wasn't able to find anything as specific as I was needing. I'm wondering if anyone can recommend any gyms in or around the Haebongchan area. What sort of equipment and cardio machines they have, quality of the sauna areas, pricing, etc. Any info would be great.

Thanks!

Thanks!

Hmmm....gyeongidan....Is that across the overpass and up the hill that leads off past Buddha's Belly? I think there's a caf on that corner called Noxa or something of the like. Sorry, I'm not that familiar with the area yet.

Is Samwon Fitness in the 70-100w price range as well?

Thanks for your help!

There used to be one gym in HBC. If you follow the main hill up past where it bends left at the International Clinic and keep going straight up to that weird intersection, there is a government building on the right. In the basement of that building there is a gym. It's a small one room gym. Nothing fancy but it has free weights, machines, treadmills, etc. Pretty cheap from what I remember. I haven't been up there in about 2 years though, but it was in the government office building so I'd guess it's still there.

Does the Hamilton Hotel or the gym near Helios permit drop-in workout sessions? If so, anyone know how much they charge?

Ok i have searched all over for this bc Im new to HBC as well. the place next to the govt place is 5000 pr session or like 30 a mo. There is a place calld wellness gym up kyungridan...its 10k per session or 90k a mo but it looks really nice. Personally i go to studio x and love it but that is more for the classes. Hope that helps!

Thanks, conbon78! That really helps!

I may just go to the place by the gov building if they have decent machines - if I can find it. Cheap = good. Out of curiosity, what sort of classes does Studio X offer?
