Yeah....quite expensive....

I would just get the cheapest Asus or Gigabyte P67 there is....do you need any of the extra functionality?

Well I already bought the pro, I just I'll just exchange it and get the newer one.

Still trying to figure out what makes the sabertooth so great. I tried doing a comparison on their site, but the difference wasn't that noticeable.

If I were to unload a brand new HD5870 in Korea, how much would it go for?

It's this model:

I think your problem might be that the card was released in September 2009......about 1.5 years ago.......in saying that, it's a great card which will just about play any current game at highest or near enough highest settings.....

I'd pay 250,000 for a 5870.

So I guess here's the plan:

Since fedex is a freakin rip off and it costs like almost 90,000 to ship a freakin motherboard back, I'm gonna have my friend who's going back to the states send it back for me. I'll try to get a full refund.

Then in the mean time, I'll buy another Asus board. I'm thinking about the sabertooth since it's for overclocking. But I haven't looked at the difference between that and the p67 pro. Yeah I have to cough up more money, but the shipping cost of getting it sent back to Korea probably makes the price somewhat similar.

Since I can't get anyone on here to install all this, how much maximum should a Korean place be charging me to install the motherboard, graphics card, cooler, RAM and power supply? I'd do it myself but don't really wanna mess it up. Don't have much time lately.

I'm using the Coolermaster Hyper 212+ which is only 28,000 but has received great reviews. I'm very happy with it. In my new Coolermaster case it keeps the CPU, when idle, at just 2 degrees above room temperature. Very impressive for a cheap cooler.

It's a very popular cooler......I'm surprised you couldn't find it.

I'm using a Phenom x6 1055T @ 3.5ghz on all 6 cores.

You'll need a tube of thermal paste to allow better conduction of heat from the CPU to the cooler........The Zalman stuff works well for 5000won.....or get the popular Arctic Silver for a few thousand more.....

I'd help, but I've been relocated to the east side. Can't your school's IT person help you with it?

Remember, you don't need a lot. There's a few ways to do it, but I'd probably the way where you make a line across the middle of the cores.

Some people just add a dab, or even spread it with a credit card. If the Zalman stuff still comes in like a nail polish bottle with brush, that's pretty convenient as well.

They say be care when applying it so that it doesn't form any air bubbles.

Also, clean off your cpu with alcohol and a coffee filter first.
