An old boss told me, if you work in the comms game long enough, you'll find most of the people you work with will have girls.
Funny enough he was right, nothing to prove it but only 20 years experience in the field.
Cellular (non ionizing) radiation is a long debated topic, there are limits that the public can be exposed to from communications towers. Somebody working on a live tower will (should) have a meter to measure safe levels of exposure.
Older cell phones would set these meters off when they rang and technically create an unsafe working environment, but then back in the day it would also cost you $8 a minute to make a call and the towers were few and far apart.
Now cell phone manufacturers realize people live on their phones, their cheap as to use and they don't want some future generation suing them like what happened to the tobacco companies.
Imagine the fall out if you could prove cell phones were unsafe, some judge with his new Iphone vibrating in his pocket, some lawyer trying to say their unsafe then rushing outside to check his messages |

The fact that Wikipedia has information on this is worrisome. I browsed this thread (not a microwave owner) wondering what would happen if I put a toad in a microwave. Well, now I know, I suppose. Thanks, crazy babysitters. |

Yeah, stranger things have happened. Often companies and interested parties don't know the full extent of the risks involved because of the difficulty of testing for conclusive results over long periods of time, the variability of the test subject (people), the slanted focus on making investors happy, etc. |

This is true for so many discussions, especially through the mass media and politics. Immigration, pollution, healthcare, drugs... I challenge anyone to find a widely discussed topic where it's not true. |
