I was just wondering if anyone new of an organization in Korea that is currently collecting donations for Japan.

This is the message I got from some donation websites for the disaster....so don`t bother with clothes....

Please package and label items, separate items by type rather than throwing them all in one container. Do not donate old clothes under any circumstances, in Japan they will be thrown away and only be seen as offensive, also do not bundle used or unwanted items of questionable utility).).

oh please. stores import second hand clothes from america (places like goodwill) and they sell them at a 5x markup in japan.

that statement makes me not want to donate anything.

Just donate cash.

The aid agencies will use it in the best way; not to mention they have greater buying power which means your dollar (or won or yen) will go further.
