I've decided to try and shoot for Incheon through EPIK program ASAP.

My question is this: Are there any benefits to applying with a recruiter opposed to the government website www.epik.go.kr?

I've already talked to Korvia, so they are waiting for my application, but I'm just wondering if I would be better served by applying straight to the government site?

Any opinions?

If you want to work for Incheon public schools, I suggest you look for a recruiter who works directly with Incheon MOE. EPIK doesn't recruit for many Incheon jobs, and applying directly to Incheon MOE will ensure that you have a placement in Incheon (if you're hired).

ah ok thank you, that's good advice. Can you or anybody else reading this recommend a decent recruiter?

*edit* nevermind, I think I found out. Apparently only one company does it:

"Footprints has been working with the Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education since 2005 to source qualified candidates for their public schools. Footprints is the exclusive recruiter for the Incheon Office of Education."

I'm still curious about the thread title question - I think i might go ahead and apply to EPIK as a backup plan.
