Are you female? My obgyn does a whoke bunch of tests including pap for about 200,000.
I only know this because it is printed on posters at the front desks, not because I have needed them.

Just go to any clinic and hand the adjumma secretary a note saying "STD" and "test" in Korean.
For no more than 30,000 won and some weird looks they will take care of you. |

| Where the hell are you people going? the mens health clinic charges like 20k for a test. You get the results super fast. And you just tell the doctor you have a problem...he will test for it regardless. |

Just find a gynecologist and ask if they speak English. If not, find another.

anything specific you're worried about? the international clinic in itaewon mentioned above will test for basically everything (STDs + STIs), which is part of why it's so expensive I'd guess, but other english-speaking clinics might just test for STDs and will be cheaper. it kinda depends on how thorough you want the testing to be and also how kind you want the staff to be (not a strength of that particular international clinic). |

| There are TWO international clinics in Itaewon. One is on the main strip and is expensive as hell. The other one is on a side street (hooker hill I believe) above a 7/11 (visible from the main street). This one is VERY cheap (30,000 when I was there). It looks a little like the 1950s, but from what I've heard they outsource their tests to a reputable lab, so they are both inexpensive and reliable. I've used them a few times, including an STD test, since you can never be too careful and its the responsible thing to do anyway. |
