- For some Koreans, this might be a blessing in disguise. How to get rid of waygookins? Oh I know! Full nuclear meltdown in Japan and that will spread to all of east asia. Those dirty waygookins will be on the first flight out! |

Seems like everywhere in the world is noticing the small rise in radiation but its nothing to really worry about... yet. |

I think it's a little ridiculous to worry about a little radiation spreading about. It would take some incredibly strong winds to blow any significant portion of radiation beyond Japan. It certainly won't be blowing towards Korea with any intensity. Even then, the majority of the radiation is in the water.
Everyone gets exposed to radiation every day. That big fire ball in the sky spits it out *constantly*, as do other bodies far off in space. You should only be worrying if you live in Japan. |

Stats without comparisons or explanations = shite journalism, on par for what we get from Korean news |

I like how the article tells us what the levels are but doesn't explain if those levels are dangerous at all. Journalism fail. |

Well the BBC just reported that minute levels of radiation from Japan were detected in Britain. |

Pathetically low levels of radiation. Typical media hyping up nothing, pretending it's cause to worry. |

This is really going to hurt Japan's exports for years.

Now what's REALLY missing is a tiny piece of background information: Has anyone ever seriously looked for traces of Cs or Xe BEFORE the Fukushima incident?
Also the sudden appearance of Pu begs the question: Has it already been there (e.g. from nuclear test fallout) and nobody has found a reason to measure until now?
I guess the following days will tell by showing or not showing an increase in concentrations.
Back to the articles, key word seems to be "miniscule" which I understand as being "irrelevant" in a practical sense. |
