|
|
This may seem trivial, but has any noticed that websites such as google, facebook (yes), yahoo, and a lot of other non-Korean websites (namely, Western ones) don't really work well?
Just yesterday, my school's computer technician told me that SMOE was going through some server maintenance. After it was "fixed", there have been issues with browsing through non-Korean websites. I've talked to couple of my friends within the SMOE system and they seem to be having the same problem. |

It has been discussed in the tech forum. Some undersea cables got cut in the Japan quake. SK Telecom is affected heavily. Others not so much. My school connection has no issues.
Maybe they routed through one of the affected providers? |

I noticed that all day. I had many problems with it and couldn't get much done. For awhile I thought it was a computer virus. |

Well, I think the cables of communication were cut many years ago in Korea.
Ramp-id disorganization seems to be the norm.
Good luck. |
