I have never understood why instant ramyeon is considered the best survival food. Since it's so salt it requires large amounts of wafer and a big box of cup ramyeons take a lot of space compared to the amount of energy it contains. I would have prefered a 4 kg bag of rice to a box of cup ramyeon, while other food such as spam and other canned food might be even better. |

Don't worry, we're all just going to turn into superheroes.
Seriously though, Dantana, you're on point. It's hard to find people who know about Chemtrails, GM foods, etc, etc. I just signed a contract, and a bit nervous about heading over there. At this point, I figured the radiation particles are depositing all over the world. It's mind boggling trying to interpret the radiation measurements. Either way, I figure the authorities won't unveil the true measurements to prevent mass hysteria, if there is a substantial amount of radiation. I simply don't want to get cancer, but at this rate, with Chemtrails, GM, etc., it seems like the risk is viable in most industrialized regions. |

I am curious, as you say, not many people know what Chemtrails are, me included. What are they and do you have any links to resources about them? |

I don't know why Koreans are so worried. After all, they only have to eat their super food Kimchi and it will protect them from that pesky radiation. |

However, last Friday I was asked by two of my co-teachers about the radiation levels, while they explained that the reason we were eating seaweed soup mmmm was to combat any radiation (again drivel but thats another story) I didn't say that to them off course
|
Why is it drivel, exactly? Miyeok-guk contains iodine. Iodine is used to counter the effects of radiation. Now, you can start an argument about absorption rates, dosage, etc but the premise seems to be sound. |

I'd doubt a bowl of miyeok-guk would have anywhere near the amount of iodine needed for protection.......and anyway, even strong doses of iodine offer a very limited kind of protection. |

Love when Koreans overreact with the radiation. Few days ago when I was in Seoul, I saw a Korean guy fully dressed up in radiation suit. The awesomeness. |

yeah i got lightly wet from the rain this afternoon and man was i feeling violated... i feel fine now, however.
still not gonna be eating sushi for a while though.
went into a japanese restaurant for lunch today where their only noodle offering was a set menu with a bite of sushi on the side and i declined it in favor of extra tempuras. i'm still scared about the radiation... |
