The Camarata Music Company is constantly looking for instrumentalists interested in playing in their orchestra. It's a great way to keep your musician skills up, and meet some great people making great music!

Our next concert is on May 7, at Chungdong First Methodist Church, City Hall Station, Seoul. We will be performing Mozart's "Requiem".

We are looking for all instruments, but especially needed for this concert are: strings (especially violins), Double-bassists, Clarinets, and Trombones.

For more information, please see our website at: http://www.camaratamusic.com, or email Ryan at: ryan (at) camaratamusic (dot) com or goesslry (at) gmail (dot) com.

We look forward to hearing from you!

at this time, we are still looking for violins and violas, 1 bassoon, 1 trumpet, and 2 trombones. Also, we may be looking for a timpanist.

Please email if interested!

I'm sure you have to audition. Just wondering what the standards for the violas are. I'm a decent player but haven't played in several years.

well it seems like this orchestra meets a few times per season, and not much rehearsal before concert.

I was interested in something a little more frequent. Like bi=weekly rehearsals.

not sure if this is worth bringing my viola to korea for! my luggage space is precious.

well, to be able to play at an acceptable level in an orchestra I'd say a minimum 4 years. and even then you wouldn't be very good. this is for an average person with average talent.
