If I ask a friend from the US to send me an IPAD2 , how much extra (over 499$ for wifi model) can I expect to pay ?? |

Hi, if your friend is coming over to Korea then they can bring it with them and claim it is for personal use even though it is sealed and get through customs no problem.
If it is sent then you will pay a premium on it and it will probably cost you more than just buying one in Korea when they come out in a few weeks time.
Would be worth just waiting, the cost isn't that much different between countries, just the slight difference due to the currency change. |

The idiots in the TSA (not Korean customs but US customs) opened a brand new unwrapped Ipad 2 in box and scuffed up the back while it went through the X-ray machine.
Which is surprising because my buddy, who also had a new, unwrapped Ipad 2 in his bag, on the same flight/time had his box untouched.
I hate the TSA. |

TSA probably made an unboxing video out of it. |
