My Skype only works on Wi-Fi. When I switch my phone to 3G, the calls barely go through and often disconnect after a few seconds.
I thought the carriers were just blocking Skype and assumed that they would, however some people have been telling me lately that it actually does work on 3G. Is it just my phone/connection? |

why don't you start by telling us what phone/carrier you have..?
on my Galaxy S, calls work sometimes on 3G, but frequently not. wifi is ballin. on my friend's iphone 4, 3G skype video calls are choppy, but doable from the casino downtown in seoul. at 4AM. |

Crap.
At least there are enough wi-fi hotspots around that I can make a Skype call in most places if I need to... |

| I tried Astrill VPN on a free 7 day trial, and it's AWESOME. It ends up costing 6 to 10 man won per month, depending on how many months you sign up. Hides your IP for you, if you set it so, among other things. Works with torrents (they said they allow them - I asked). Full Youtube 1080p video with no waiting to buffer! Skype is awesome fast. Very happy so far! |
