Hello,
I am trying to connect my Xbox live through a US proxy on my PC in order to download content that is restricted outside the US, such as movies and games on demand. Anyone have any experience with this? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, |

I *sort of* got this working on my computer about 2 years back when Netflix for the 360 just came out. I haven't tried it since so I can't vouch if it still works.
I had a wireless adapter for the 360 and a computer that was connected to the internet via ethernet. I ran a VPN (Hotspot Shield) on the desktop computer and then used the desktop computer to share its wireless network to other computers, basically making it an access point.
It worked for the Netflix streaming, but as I recall the quality wasn't all that great. I run a similar set up now, but with a mac mini as a media center. Although I don't use Netflix anymore I am able to watch a lot of things like PBS that have some programs region locked, such as Nova and Frontline. |
