|
|
Im on an E2 visa (12 month duration), but on a 6 month contract (since extended a little), what do I need to transfer my E2?
LOR, apostilled degree, anything else? And do I need to do a visa run (with or without the LOR)?
Im thinking about starting either a new E2 contract or a C4 summer camp.
Thanks in advance! |

First change of status since Jan, 2011:
LOR
ARC
passport
new contract
sponsorship (form) from new school
(copy) of the business registration from the new school
application
fee
Second or subsequent change of status AFTER Jan, 2011:
All of the above AND
POSSIBLY
new CRC with apostille and degree copy with apostille.
Call and ASK Kimmi for YOUR specifics if this is your 2nd change of status since the rules changed.

Thanks for the feedback Ttompatz!
Do I have to do a visa run for either a C2 or an E2 visa, or does it make a difference? And how long can the gap be between jobs? |

I am kind of in the same boat, my visa runs out on the 30th of April, my new job starts May 23rd. Is it possible to get my existing visa transferred or will I need to get a new E-2? If anyone has advice or opinions on this, I would appreciate it. |
