For those of you who like to get away for a couple months at a time, do you have a Korean partner with a regular Korean job (ie max 2 weeks vacation)? If so, do you find any challenges in your relationship relating to this? |

Yes, I imagine it would be a problem, especially if you were going to the PI or Thailand. Might be a tad bit of suspicion on one end. |

It's funny you mention that. A friend of mine just returned from the Philippines, and right after he got back, he started having serious pain whenever he urinated. Needless to say, his K-girl was ready to break up with him until he went to the doctor and was diagnosed with kidney stones. |

I've got a Korean wife. She gave up waiting around at home for me. Now she's studying in Cambridge and I'm working in Vietnam.
So goes life.
(Has it really been that long?)
(I'm thinking of giving up a year to Korean study at a university soon, hence being back to look around.) |

Yeah that's another topic.
I would like to work in a warm country for a year like southern china, Vietnam or Taiwan to learn a language and enjoy the weather.
Anybody do that and make it work with their k gf?
Are there six month contracts for those warm countries? |
