| Really really goood, no-holds-barred ethnic cuisines from Greece, Thailand, India, etc., where they're pulling out all the stops as much out of pride in their mother country's culture as out of concern for their business, but really more about showing you love and a whole 'nother planet...I really got more of a sense of this type of approach when I went to uni in the states |

There's a place in Itaewon that has good Mole. The guy makes it for the Mexican Embassy.. he's from NY, but spent a lot of time in Mexico City.. it's as good as home! I think it's called Tacos or something equaly as generic.. it' across the street from Taco Bell and down a bit. |

Taco Amigo. It's great when the owner is there. Just be wary when he's out. They slack off a bit. |

It's not the same, and there you go again with the weird English. I'd bet dollars to dimes that you aren't a Native speaker. |

I think that is the one restaurant my honey and I went to in Itaewon. It was a crime against humanity. He got a soft taco very cold and with no filling. I got a nasty tomatoey enchilada. There was no richness. There was no love. Maybe it changed before or after my visit, but I was epically disgusted, disappointed, and ripped off.
(Course, I could be thinking of another Mexican place. But the name sounds right.) |

| I always get a veggie burrito or quesadilla, so can't rate the meat products. I make that stuff at home, most of the time, though. The owner's pretty decent. |
