| About the $80... No, I wouldn't be dumb enough to pay $80 for something that I can watch for free. One more time...FREE. I have plenty in the bank and no debt, so money isn't the issue. If you enjoy making other people wealthier then, by all means, go for it. But I don't believe in throwing my money away. |
There are two problems to your logic:
1) If they can't make any money selling the product, the product disappears.
2) I regard myself as savvy as the next guy when it comes to finding free streams for various sports, and you must know that every free stream fails eventually. It usually happens when their cr@ppy servers overload, which happens during...wait for it...the most important games.
I'll pay my $80 this year and see every game in crystal-clear HD without buffering and be glad for it. I may not have as much money in the bank as you, but I can afford to give 90 minutes of my salary in return for watching two months of amazing hockey. |
thanks for that wuzza nice to see someone who wants to drink the fine wine of hockey internet rather than the soju tastes of mr chris. |

| Why would I shell out 80 bucks to potentially see my team go out in the first round. If the canucks are out i'm not going to bother to watch the rest of the playoffs. |
You sound like a big hockey fan Why not just read the recaps and save your time too?

I got a bridge I'd love to sell you |
Never claimed I was a big hockey fan. I just want to watch my team. If I blindly believed that the websites claims to its quality why would I be on here asking for verification.
If nhl.com offered what I wanted I would pay for it, but it doesn't so I won't. |

Ah, Kings haters. Haters gonna hate. We'll see...hope the Kings can do some damage to make you guys eat some crow.
Faulty logic? The NHL won't disappear because of lack of income. There are more than enough rubes(like yourself) that will shell out the cash to make sure that the NHL stays afloat. Not worried about that one happening anytime soon. As far as the faulty streams, yes, it happens of course. Hey, the product is free on those sites, whaddya expect? However, there are usually 3-4 links per game and so there is usually a really good feed(even HD quality ones) in there. I've had no problems watching the big games like the Stanley Cup and Super Bowl. None whatsoever.
Again, the measly $80 isn't the point. The point is that I am not going to pay for something that I can get for free. But you go ahead and shell out that money. It is your choice.
I'm listening to "What's the frequency, Kenneth" as I type this, so excuse any possible typos on this post. Cheers. |
