Got the Suree version in Itaewon. Like everyone said, it does the job. However, it's not the same and not as spicy.

Can you be more specific with directions?

It's that block parallel to the main strip. Cross the main road from the Hamilton hotel and walk towards and past Taco Bell. Turn left at the first street. There are a bunch of African shops there. Walk and it should be on your right. It has a bunch of beans, cereals, and other western goods in the window. I found individual serving sized cups of Jif peanut butter there the other day as well. They also have pre-mixed spice blends in packets, which is pretty convenient when I make chili.

No, I was just browsing iherb and saw it today and I couldn't believe it either. I know it doesn't show the picture right now but it's the real stuff. The brand Huy Fong Foods is the company that makes the "real" sauce with the rooster picture on front.

I'm not sure. It's the block running between the foreign food market street and the one with Taco Amigo. Loads of African shops. It's on the side away from the Hamilton Hotel. Sorry for the late reply. I didn't notice your query.

No problem. Someone bumped this thread. I will check it out the next time I visit that area. Thanks.

Ansan station! Go under/across the street. Look for asia mart/vietnamese restaurants. Love that place!

I didn't say it was on a second hill. Pleas scroll up a few few posts and you'll see more detailed instructions on where to find it. If it's not clear, feel free to PM me and I'd be glad to help.
