We have decided to stay in Korea for the summer. That being said, we still want a beach. Anyone know of any affordable beachfront hotels (preferably with pools) in Korea? I am not too concerned with the location as long as it is on the beach and the beach is semi-clean. |

anything that has got its own pool in Korea is going to be massively expensive for a whole month. 120-150$ and up per night.
However, any beach city/town that you go to in Korea will have a crap ton of beach motels that are a 2-3 minute walk from the beach. You should have no problem finding something for a 150-200 bucks a week.
I have the number of a great pension house in sokcho. I will post it when I get home tonight. |

Lots of good motels near Haeundae Beach in Busan:

They don't have pools, but Haeundae is probably the biggest beach in the country. (Not sure if you want those kinds of crowds, though, but it's an interesting area). |

010-4383-1820 is the phone number
The lady doesnt speak any English though, so you may need someone to translate for you over the phone.
In the off season, she charged me 120,000 won for the week. |

Is this website nothing but love motels? We have a 2 year old and I am not sure how the motel owner would feel about a toddler staying there.
Some nice looking motels though.
Thanks SeoulNate. We might drive up there for a week or so and then head back down here.
Great blog Smee.
Cheers all. Lots of options now. |

There are loads of pensions all along the coast of Anmyeondo which are generally really nice but don't have pools. |

I may be able to get you a 2-bed beachside apt in Busan depending on when you need it. Send me a PM if interested. |
