|
|
Hey I was wondering if there are any "team buy" type websites that applied to Korea.... anyone know of any out there?
the concept of these websites is that if they get enough people signing up for a deal the heavy discount applies to all of those who signed up, but if they don't get enough people signing up then no one gets the deal.... it's hard to explain... but teambuy.ca is the Canadian equivalent. |

There are three that I use:
www.ticketmonster.co.kr
www.groupon.kr
www.coupang.com
I think ticketmonster has the best deals followed by coupang.
After reading your post again I'm not sure these are what you are after. |

I think what he is saying is a group of people get together to buy a LOT of something to get a cheaper price
Kind of like if all the E-2 people got together and got a container full of Western food delivered, it would be considerably cheaper than going to the grocery store for it. |

I wrote about it last month but nobody seems to take interest in it. Anyway, here is the best site that ranks the most popular deals. http://www.couponchart.co.kr/
You click the orange arrow button and it leads to applicable sites such as Coupang, Groupon, and others. They have many killer deals and once you use them, you would never, ever go back to paying a full price.

Thanks, this site seems useful. Some of the deals you can get from these sites are great. I also rarely pay full price when eating out anymore. Some of the travel packages seem really cheap as well. |
