I'm thinking of taking some of those probiotic drinks on a regular basis, but have a few questions for those who are more familiar with probiotics in general.
Do the Yakult-type mini probiotic drinks you find at Homeplus/Emart etc contain a lot of added sugar?
Which ones would you recommend?
How many do you drink a day?
Do they all contain Acidophilus? |

| i've done minimal research on this, but from what i know, plain yogurt is better than yogurts added with sugar if you want acidophilus. they actually sell acidophilus pills on the internet, and apparently they do more than help your digestive tract- they also fight off bad bacteria. |

| For the days I don't eat yogurt, I take my probiotics in a pill form--Sustenex, specifically. Usually two or three a week because they are rather pricey. |

I used to take an antibiotic daily for rosacea (zits), but now take a probiotic pill instead. A lot cheaper and no side-effects.

Regarding drinks, read the label carefully. Some have nasty sugar-substitutes. |

The problem with the mini probiotic drinks is that there doesn't seem to be much information on them, so I have a hard time figuring out what's actually in them.
In terms of natural (i.e. sugarless) yoghurt, I'm also having some difficulty finding a good one. My local Homeplus stocks Yoplait natural yoghurt, but it is a little on the sweet side. I read a thread on here about Denmark natural yoghurts being sugar-free but I've yet to come across any.
For those of you who buy your probiotic pills online, have you had any problems getting them through Korean customs? Are there any Korean websites where I could order them from? Or, is it possible to get them over the counter at your local pharmacy in the ROK?

| Try another grocery store- both the Kim's Club and the homeplus near me sell unsweetened Denmark yogurt, and many of the convenience stores sell the Denmark drinkable yogurt, which is sweet, but not as sweet as a lot of other brands. |

They just came out with some new packaging. I bought some and even though it says plain yogurt, it is the most incredible tasting yogurt I've ever had. It tastes much better than their previous plain yogurt.
I do put lots of Saigon cinnamon in mine for various health benefits. Even though I'm using a medicinal amount of this cinnamon, I must say it tastes incredibly goooooooood.
