That gnawing sound should have been so obvious. It was the person I at least expected. She was a new teacher and kept a low profile. She sits 5 feet away from me in the office as well. Oh well, remember to DTA (don't trust anyone)! After what happened on friday, it was back to business as usual. The teachers are talking to me again.

I'm sure they are only talking to you so you don't suspect anything as they secretly plan your demise.

I narrowed it down to three people on my FB. She working with me and knowing everyone at the office was painstaking obvious. She had access to my wall posts. Moreover, she was acting really weird towards me when she came in this morning.

If it was me I would confront the situation before it got out of hand (or even more out of hand).

It still baffles me why people think this helps them get ahead? You may make someone else look bad at work...but you achieve nothing. You just look like a disloyal asshat yourself.

Yeah office narcs usually get the cold shoulder, back home anyway.

I once dropped off a resume after I'd been at a school interviewing for possible abuse (in my job as a govt swkr). The school was advertsiing for a guidance counsellor. It was lunch time I explained to my work colleague what I was doing and that it saved me driving all the way across town in my lunchtime. She said ok.

As soon as she got back to the office she told the whole thing to our Office Manager. Both of us were called in for separate discussions. She basically got reprimanded for saying ok to me then narcing on me.

When that story went around the workplace, she got the cold shoulder from everyone, she literally ended up eating by herself for ages.

I would definitly ask her if she was responsible. Sounds like she's just out to score some brownie points...

Sorry. It might sound cold, but why do people get kicks out of broadcasting their biz to the world, putting up half-naked pics of themselves and then are surprised when it hits the fan?

I would never put any of my coworkers on my facebook. If they want to add me to a social networking site, they can add me to LinkedIN.

After I have left whatever company/school then I would extend the facebook invite.

or at least have a separate facebook for your friends and one for co-workers/other/students (the latter who happened to see me using it and insisted on friending me, hence FB 2)

hmmm... people who stick their nose in others business or gossip suck (but its kinda human nature) ... but to post something about a colleague or work on fb is just dumb...
posting anything that u don't want someone to hear on fb is dumb.
Degrees or seperation are smaller and networks are growing larger.
Fb is more like a bulletin board!!!
