hi,
anyone have a decent dslr that is showing an error or isn't working properly?
broken lcd, wonky shutter, etc...
if you would rather replace it than pay a fortune to repair it, and are willing to let it go cheaply (haha.. free would be nice! ), i'd appreciate it.
i'm decent with electronics and i'm up for a bit of a (big) project...

| Are you looking to fix the camera and then use it? I have a D200 that's in rough shape. The buttons work fine and the auto-focus is fine, but the screen is all scratched up, major cosmetic damage etc. Not something I could sell for much due to it's poor condition! |

sounds like something i'd be really interested in. 
i'm looking to fix it and give it as a gift. i lost most of my money to hospital bills after an accident about 7 months ago and i figured this could be a nice way to give a nice gift to the person ('people,' if i can find and fix 2) who helped me when i as in a bad situation and i think could benefit from whatever therapeutic effects photography provides (i'm not a photog). |
