Hey All,

2 different pools this year; feel free to enter both, either or neither.

POOL 1: CONFIDENCE POINTS
Rank the 16 playoff teams in order from the team you think will eventually win the cup (16) to the team you think is least likely to advance past the first round (1). Each round, you will accumulate the # of points for each theam that advances.
For example, if you rank Washington at #16 and they win the Cup, you would get 64 points (16+16+16+16).

POOL 2: ROUND-BY-ROUND SERIES PICKS
Pick the winner of each series, and the # of games per series.
Points: 1st round=2, 2nd round=4, Conference Finals=6, Cup Final=8.
1 Bonus point if you correctly pick the # of games right (only awarded if you pick the winning team).
** Make your picks one round at a time.

Any questions?

WESTERN CONFERENCE

(1) VANCOUVER vs (8 ) CHICAGO
(2) SAN JOSE vs (7) LOS ANGELES
(3) DETROIT vs (6) PHOENIX
(4) ANAHIEM vs (5) NASHVILLE

EASTERN CONFERENCE

(1) WASHINGTON vs (8 ) N.Y. RANGERS
(2) PHILADELPHIA vs (7) BUFFALO
(3) BOSTON vs (6) MONTREAL
(4) PITTSBURGH vs (5) TAMPA BAY

I was one of those waving a towel in 1982 after the ref-messed game in Chicago. I was one of those who loyally watched them struggle for the next decade. I believed in 1994 that they could upset Calgary and go all the way. I stopped watching the Canucks only once, in early 1998, when Keenan was *beep* up everything. Gawd I hated that year. I was so happy to get Luongo and Vigneault because it healed the Cloutier/Crawford wounds. A true Canucks fans remembers all the lows as well as the few highs.

I am a real Canucks fan. Now, if you wanna ask why a Canucks fan thinks they won't get out of the first round of the playoffs, that would be a good move. I will cheer for them for every second they are on the ice. But I have a brain as well as a heart, and eyes that won't be wearing rose-colored glasses until the puck drops.
