I won't answer your question until it makes grammatical sense. Sorry. |

Do you mean through it out with the food trash? Or, make your own compost at home. If it's the latter, then the answer is yes.

My wife says not to through out the coffee grounds and filter into the apartment building's food trash. Why? She says it's not "food". Yea ok, she wins. |

Filters & grounds compost beautifully (veteran gardener here).
If you're talking about civic food waste collection in Korea, its generally incinerated, not composted. So again, your filters would be fine.
A possible exception would be if you knew the scraps were being recycled as pig feed. A private contractor picks up the food trash at my school for that purpose so things like banana peels & eggshells are excluded. |

Yes you can. They do compost, but some building managers don't like it because they are ignorant. |

Yes. Is it for your own personal compost?
You may be concerned if it is a white (bleached) filter.
You know they sell cloth (re-usable) filters all over the place? |

Sorry. I use an ipad that randomly "autocorrects" my speech. In effect, it just randomly changes my words and makes them seem, well, odd. |

Korean law requires food waste to go out in a separate bag from the other waste in the household. It's commonly referred to as the compost. |

Perhaps it's incinerated in your neighborhood. In most areas of Korea, it's composted. |
