Both of those were in What The Book last time I was there. (About a week ago.)
Kyobo had The Selfish Gene a few months ago- probably still does...

yes I know both of those books are at Kyobo and at What the book?,
I'm guessing that since they are popular books that someone has a copy laying around. Kyobo's nice but I hate paying 30 bucks for a book that you can buy elsewhere for 3 bucks |

You didn't read it, and yet feel qualified to judge it?
I can't find my copy of The Selfish Gene, but I do have copies of The Blind Watchmaker and the Devil's Chaplain. pm me if you want either. |

Hey, I read 20% of it, and did a few spot checks on the remaining 80% of the book to see if it was going to get any better, and it didn't appear that it would, so yeah for the purposes of an offhand comment in this forum I feel perfectly qualified.  I suppose if I was going to write a full-blown review for the New York Times, I'd have to stomach the whole book.
Very clearheaded thinker when it comes to relating evolutionary theory to the layperson, granted. |
