I've heard there's a store down by the bar Traveler's downtown that sells clothing that other westerners have brought there. Any truth to this rumor?
Additionally, anyone know where I can get some clothes that fit me besides costco or maybe emart or homeplus. I'm not even that big, it's annoying.
Stats: 5'9, 175ish. Kind of broad shoulders but nothing outrageous. |

I've been in Daegu for 2.5 years and haven't heard of a store like that. I know there's a second-hand store all the way down Dongsungro (near Daegu Station) and upstairs they have "big sizes".
Have you tried Gap or Zara downtown? |

Wow, that's a freaky rumor!!! I wonder if it's true and those foreigners actually bought stuff there.
No, seriously, I'm the same size as you, and I have no problem with the stock in any department store, or Uniqlo, or almost any store i walk into. |

@ crescent, I was out today and couldn't find anything at any of the boutiques around banwaldong. It'd either be not broad enough in the shoulders or wouldn't fit around my gut. Perhaps I weigh more than I think I do...
Maybe I'd have better luck at a department store though. I'm just worried about price.
I haven't tried gap or Zara yet. I'll probably try there next week. |
