So, in my life, I've met hypochondriacs, and regular people. The hypochondriacs are awesome. They're constantly on the look out for a touch of cloud cover or a weather report of a more than 1 degree temperature change so that they can claim they are sick because of it.

They don't realize this though. They think they're normal. They think they just happen to be weaker than everyone else (oh wait, they don't say it like that, they say they have allergies/yellow dust/unlucky/WhatOhMyGodI'mMuchLessSickThanMyFriends)

Are you a hypochondriac? Or are you very sickly? Or are you a real man/woman?

I didn't get sick so frequently back in America. In fact, there was a period of a couple years where I only got sick twice (1 cold, 1 strep throat) back when I had some other less stellar habits. Seemed to help.

I was sick twice this past month. I had a nasty cold for a week. I was healthy a week. And then the cold was back the following week only minus stuffy nose and just with massive cough and super painful chest. This happens when you work with kids, I guess.

EDIT: I am still a real woman because I haven't missed a day of work in over a year and a half nor do I boohoohoo to my coworkers.

I've had a couple of colds since I got here 2 months ago, but nothing to keep me off work. I haven't been genuinely sick for years and years now. At least 5 years since I had a flu, but maybe more than 7

Slightly off topic, I've noticed Americans are always taking pills of some kind!
