I have a wicked sore throat that ibuprofen isn't doing much to help. I think it's due to allergies and irritation from sinus drainage. The last time I asked for throat lozenges at a pharmacy, I ended up with some horrible chalky wafer-like things that did nothing to help my sore throat. I know I can get Halls cough drops here, but I would love to find some of the throat lozenges that also contain something to numb the pain. If those aren't available, I would take an anesthetic throat spray like Chloraseptic. Any ideas? My throat hurts. Crying or Very sad

The red door black market store in Itaewon used to have some. Not sure they still do, but they had it. It's a tiny place. See here:

Warm up some vinegar and dissolve a teaspoon of honey in it. Take a sip, gargle for 15 seconds, and swallow until you're out. In my experience this works even better than prescription sore throat sprays. Good luck. Sore throats are a bitch.

Yeah, I still have some of those chalky ones. Mad
Ask for Propolis (로 폴 릿); lozenges. Those are the best I've found here. You probably would want some spray as well, most pharmacies here have one or two types (can't recall names.) Best of luck.

I've seen Fisherman's Friend at a couple stores in Itaewon. That convenience store across from the Hamilton Hotel has them.

FYI, I checked at The Red Door in Itaewon today, and they didn't have any. Sorry.
