How long is the visa for Americans? I am planning on doing some hiking and and finding a job while in Korea. Before you tell me this is a bad idea, /i have lived in Korea for 4 years. And I don't imagine it will be hard to find a job in Korea. A decent honest job?...well somethings never change right?

Last I remember, it was 3 months for Americans (with a possible extension?)

You can extend a real visa but not a visa exemption.

If you're going to get a job within 90 days, don't bother with a visa.

Real visa = 90 days and can be extended once.

Visa waiver entry stamp (for Americans) = 90 days. Cannot be extended.
