I currently have an E2 visa for Korea but I had to leave the country due to family reasons. I am wondering what is the process for returning? Is it as simple as just going back and changing the sponsor?
Please advise!!
Thanks |

IF you turned in your ARC on the way out (canceling your visa) then you are free to begin the process of obtaining a new E2 from the beginning (new documents, new job application, new visa application).
If you did NOT turn in your ARC and/or did not cancel your visa you will have to wait until it expires (sometime next year) before you can try again.

Thanks for that info. I did not use an arc, I wasn't aware that this was the procedure.
Is it really that cut and dry? There is no way other way to return? |
