|
|
Hello,
I live in Gyeonggido but not in Seoul. I'm leaving Korea next Saturday, and I need to go to Seoul anyway on Tuesday, so I figured I would also stop by the pension office to apply for my pension, as well as needing to go immigration to get a visa extension. Is there an immigration office and a pension office near eachother to make it a little easier? I get off near the Cheongnyangi station on line 1, if that helps. Any help would be appreciated! |

Most Pension offices would be located in the Gu which you live. Ask someone to do a search for you. You will need a plane ticket out of the country in order to claim your pension. You will also need to go to the nearest immigration office in Gyeonggi Do to do your visa extension I think
as Seoul wouldn't take care of you as you're in a different province. |

I don't think so. I got my ARC in Chuncheon, which of course is not in Gyeonggido. But Chuncheon is in the opposite direction and I have no desire to go there |

If you received your ARC there, they must have jurisdiction over the area in which you live. Are you referring to Chuncheon in Gangwon Do? Maybe check to see if their are any immi sattellite offices near you.. I live in Hwajeong and while the main office is in Uijeongbu they have a small office in Ilsan. they just do the paperwork processing and send it off to the main office.. |
