Got this message today:

"I have to let you know that there's a 15 hour teacher training class for co-teaching native teachers.
Do you have any interest?"

Ummm....nope.

Does anyone else get asked if they want to do ridiculous things?

Honestly I'd rather teach. I didn't ask for clarification though.

i get those messages once in a while. you meet up with the teachers in your district and you share lesson plans. i've opted out of those before, but i've also taken them as well.

i don't see the big fuss in asking you. should they just assume you're never interested?

you did that for 15 hours though?

ive been to some 3 hour meetings. even those were mostly fluff.

i just get these a lot

"wanna study korean? it's in gangnam (where no one in smoe lives) and costs 300,000 won a month"

"wanna go to dokdo? it's a 4 day trip and it costs 600,000 won"

etc...
