Time to get sharing! Post bands that are too good to ignore!

I will start with Dogs of Bali.

http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/dogsofbali

Also soon on iTunes.

No, I have no affiliation with this group, I just like it and thought others may as well. Have a listen on the linked page. Personally, Jerry Marotta and Tony Levin are long-time legends in my mind.

Look forward to what may come in this thread.

Here's a group I've heard around - folk music, fairly lively. Hit the thingy at the top for a listen.

The Bombadils

My flute teacher is a member of this group of medieval and renaissance traversos:

The Modena Consort

Of course a plug for my favourite Abbot:

Dom Laberge

And my old college favourite, who more people should know about now that he's dead, Nujabes.

There are too many bands in the world right now... I guess because it's way too easy to make your own stuff nowadays.

Anyway, Zeppelin ruuuuuuuuuullles.

Best rocknroll band of all time. Funny how they started out copying blues artists in the Mississippi Delta region.

RMNC, your 'new lady' track sound less housey and more Dilla-ish.
Rather catchy, I agree.

SPC ECO the guy from 90s shoegaze giants Curve and the Eurythmics with a new band. Working with Andy Bell (Oasis) and Alan Moulder (my bloody valentine, smashing pumpkins, NiN) with Rose Berlin on vocals and Joey Levenson on guitar.

one of their cool videos:
