Did you mean to write "6000 IUs"? Because that is what you should be taking as a general rule.

Yes, I ate a lot of gazpacho, and my weight fell rather fast, faster than I expected anyway. It's Spring and we are going into Summer so it may be a good idea to restart it. It says 150%, 600IUs, of Vit D under the nutrition information on my supplement pills.

Here is my supplement.

How many of those per day do you take?

Normally just 1 per day. Why?

^ Because I wouldn't really go by the RDAs. In general, they are woefully inadequate. They are based on the some minimum one might need to avoid clinical illness, but it is far less than what is needed for optimal cell functioning.

Like 90 mg of Vit C being 150%, what a joke! Dr Linus Pauling recommends taking dosages measured in grams. Similarly, for Vit D, like Kuros said above, 600 IU may be OK in summer, but in winter you should go up to 6000.

I have trouble finding quality high-dose vitamins. You should probably take at least three of those a day, altho I'd supplement the C, and D in the winter.

^ I eat food as well. I eat a couple of hard boiled eggs with the berry smoothie (w/ more vitD in the mild or yogurt.) Also, I have the other supplement which has got another 1000IUs of vitD. Though yes, I do realize that these are just supplements and I do try to eat three good squares a day.
