I had a vasectomy awhile back and now I need to get tested to confirm it worked.

I am looking for an English speaking doctor somewhere in Seoul who can give me the result written in English and signed.

any suggestions?

TIA

Any major hospital with a urology clinic or fertility clinic should have a doctor that speaks English who can administer the test.

Hi LL

I had it done in a doctor's office in Canada. in and out in about 15 minutes.

it was uncomfortable for about 2 weeks then I felt normal.

I was talking to an ajjushi about mine and his and he said his took about 15 minutes at his doctor's clinic in Seoul and he had no pain or discomfort afterward.

get er done man, and after you're confirmed, no more condoms ever!

Get an OTC test kit. It's about 40 bucks.

Good luck

okay, another question,

to go to an English clinic in itaewon or somewhere else in Seoul, do I need to make an appointment?

you can really get an OTC test at a pharmacy?
do they provide a guarantee?

I would like a doctor to give me a signed guarantee so that if my wife gets pregnant, I know who will be paying for it.

how much is a microscope?

Of all the threads I've seen over the years here, this is a first.

OP, call the international clinic in Itaewon and ask him. He's a pretty good doc and if he can't do the test then the can recommend someone who can.

Actually I have considered this myself. I hate condoms as well. It takes all the fun out. I've tried to explain to my Korean gfs before like, imagine you stick your hand in a warm bowl rice. You can feel how warm it is. You can feel the texture of the rice. It's kind of nice. Now, put on one of those ajumma cleaning gloves and stick your hand back in the rice bowl. Nothing. Can't feel a thing. Is my hand even in the rice bowl, I can't tell?

The only things holding me back are: price (I have no real idea, but I think it's a couple thousand at the very least), loss of feeling or permanent discomfort (I read once that 10% of men that have it done have a permanent feeling of discomfort and slight pain and it never goes away, even when reversed or they get a numb feeling that also doesn't go away), and that I fear disease more than an unplanned baby (let's face it, Koreans don't get the best sex education like we do in the West and Korean men are known to visit the pros regularly. They also don't feel the need to use protection since they're all "pure blood" Koreans and disease can't harm them as long as they get enough kimchi in their diet. So I'd rather have that difficult conversation about going to the "female clinic" rather than getting test results back that make you want to kill yourself.)

vasectomies are totally UNnatural!
they go completely against nature
i think there is a direct link between the rise in vasectomies
and the the rapid rise in prostate cancer especially in the west
and i'm confident that a link between the two will be established over time
