Any taxes are import duties that are included in the price. This is true whether you are buying from a physical store in Korea or through the online store. All the prices are the same and all the taxes are included in the price.
The only advantage to the online store is the ability to do a custom order, an education discount order, or a refurbished order. The downside is that you have to wait a few days for it to be delivered.
If you buy from one of the physical stores, you get the basic configuration computer and no discounts or refurbished products. On the plus side, if they have that particular computer in stock, you walk out with it that day.
I've always found the refurbished store to be the way to go. You get the best discount that way. Also, it has rarely taken more than 3-4 days for the computer to show up at my door, though if you order just after new computers are announced, it can take considerably longer. |

just wanted to give the heads up. i went through the website for education discount - no problems there.
But I had a faulty MagSafe so it want charging my battery - go figure for a new product. But by the time I had the new notebook the telephone service was finished (time for them to go home) so i knew myeong dong apple store was open so i went there. have requested a new one and now have to wait nearly a week for the replacement to come through
Now for the short time that I had it running I wanted to do the DVD/CD share but it doesnt come up in when I go through system requirements.
So even with charging I know i still have other problems. |

You'll be able to buy the things on that page at the price listed on that page. The prices listed are a bit cheaper than normal.
It's no great bargain, though. You might want to compare the differences compared to what you'd pay at home. It might be cheaper or, at least, more convenient per the savings to just buy it at home and bring it here. |

Wonder how much of a delay there'll be (from its launch in the US). |
