The scam made simple...

They put 4 mil won into a bank acoount/ month.

2 mil of that is your pay, the rest goes to your employer.

If the tax office comes to check things out, you get stuck with the unpaid taxes for the full 4 mil.

Get it yet?

Not saying this will happen, but it has happened to some so be careful.

Any employer or recruiter who would use you to cheat on their taxes will cheat you, too.

That is not them scamming you. That is you accepting more money. Now you are painting a different premise.

In your example, I would close the account and tell them I have been paid for 2 months. Then I would open a new account and give them information before the end of the 3rd month.

The taxes would be the same.

A scam is more like them promising to pay you overtime and then fabricating some story later why they don't need to pay you.

ANYONE THAT WAITS 12 MONTHS TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT GETTING TWICE THE AMOUNT OWED PER MONTH IS NOT REALLY BEING SCAMMED. THEY ARE PARTICIPATING (MONTHLY, REPEAT OFFENSE) IN THE ACT.
