Does anyone work at the Avalon in Songpa-gu? I heard it is expensive to live in parts of Seoul, but I'm not sure if Songpa-gu is one of them in particular. I am starting there in a month and am trying to figure out how much money I will need, realistically, to get by before my first paycheck. Any help would be much appreciated!!

If you want to do some partying, bring 1000-1500. If you want to hermit it up then 500 should be sufficient.

I would say bring at least 300 dollars for food and travel.
