never tell until they ask.
around 2 months before your contract ends, you need to get the ball rolling with finance people to start preparing for your departure (exit allowance/airfare, severance, deposit refund, etc.). |

Since it sounds like you really don't like it in Korea, are you sticking it out just for the severance and airfare?
After 6 months, you don't have to pay back the money for coming to Korea. You might be able to put yourself in a better position, say June or July, if you simply give 30 days notice now and find new work back home or wherever you are going. |
Pretty much. There's only 2.5 months of normal class left, and then a couple weeks of summer camp. Patience. That's what I keep telling myself. I have enough hobbies to keep me busy, so it's not all terrible here. Just a little longer. |

Update- Sweet! I talked with my school this week. Because of how the school year works here, I would only miss one school day. So they had no problem on approving my vacation. They still get their three weeks of summer camp, I get to leave early and get paid. All is fair.
Thanks for the advice. I wasn't sure if it could be done, but now it will! |
