15 kilograms for my suitcase (not the carry on).
Does anyone know the fees Cebu Pacific charges if one is over the 15 kilogram limit? |

What could you possibly be taking to the RP that is over 15kg?
If you are traveling as a tourist you should go LITE!. T-shirts and shorts or a bathing suit are the order of the day.
IF you are talking your golf gear then talk to them BEFORE you buy your ticket.
IF you are going diving, get the gear in the RP (bring your regulator and octopus if you prefer). Leave the weight belt and BC at home.

Thanks for the replies.
I'm just planning my eventual final departure from my job in Korea back to my home in the Philippines. |

#5 boxes from the post office.
20kg for 38k won surface mail. Takes about 90 days to the local post office (out in the province). Faster to the NCR.
Make sure the corners are well taped.
We sent about 20 boxes home to Bohol that way. Quick, easy and no worry.

I'm not sure if I trust the postal service in the Philippines. I have sent a few things (gifts) via EMS but isn't going through the regular postal service kind of risky? |

We sent 20 - #5 boxes from Bundang to Bohol and with the note that a couple of the boxes were broke (corners split open) they all arrived with nothing missing.
We didn't ship anything that was particularly valuable either (clothes, household items, kitchen stuff, etc).
We had to pick them up at the local post office (they weren't delivered to our house) and they did charge us an extra p35 per box for "handling" when we picked them up.

I just heard that no more baggage allowed on Cebu flights...only carry-on. Is that right? |
