I have a few RAD Stickers on hand in Seoul. These can be placed on your ID or kept in your wallet to measure radiation and cumulative allowable human dosages. (Safety First/Be Prepared) They are very easy to read and understand used by the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) and UN (United Nations First Responders). Seems like a must when living in Korea or visiting Japan. I will let them go for $22 per unit or Won equivalent. Specs upon request. Post or email me at [email protected]

EDF Energy London is close to where you reside they maintain a similar reactor to that of Fukushima Japan. Lucky England does not have quakes or tsunamis. If you decide to visit this part of Asia I will keep one for ya....

Oh man, I went out in the rain today and have a finger growing out of my shoulder all of a sudden....if only I'd gotten one of these earlier.

If you had any idea of the product you would not comment so negativity. The product works this is the first of the new shipment manufactured after the American Gov. bought all 175,000 units the agency had in stock. They have been distributed to our personnel deployed in Japan and surrounding regions. I wish you could see the effects of radiation poisoning first hand. It is not a pretty sight and you don't see it coming. This is a chance to share a unique product with a few people here in Seoul. Also your Potassium Iodine comment is wrong. Again most of our supply was depleted immediately following the happenings in Japan. This is not a salt rather a high grade thyroid absorption inhibitor. Again this product has been distributed to our disaster relief personnel currently in the effected Fukushima Prefecture Region.

If you have a link to some reliable source that reports even slightly dangerous amounts of radiation in Korea please post.

Otherwise, please don't fear-monger for profit. It really is despicable and will blacken your soul.

Dave's has such a bad reputation for sales. I certainly don't want to add to it and yet I feel I should comment here. Such badges aren't all that useful unless you are working near or in a contaminated area.

The largest threat South Korea faces, radiation wise and wrt Japan, is the consumption of food or water that has been contaminated by radioactive isotopes. That is to say particles on the wind.

I sincerely doubt these badges can detect, or signal, such contamination: they are designed much like a very slow film. They likely react to certain wavelengths and are exposed as they come in contact with those wave lengths. They are designed to signal an external threat, they are not designed to identify contaminated food or water.

When it comes to food, you would be better off with a Geiger counter (and probably not much better!). Now I just happen to have 4-5 of them, and would be happy to part with them for the all time..... just kidding. My soul is black enough already.

I'm not really in Shepherd's Bush circa 1964, you know.

Laughing

I'm in Bundang-gu circa 2011, and living in fear of nothing except the sky falling on my head.
