|
|
| Anyone know if there's a website to view movie listings in English, more specifically the theaters at Technomart (Gangbyeon) or Star City (Konkuk University)? And how is it buying tickets at the actual theater? It seems like most Koreans by their tickets online in advance. |

listings
as for buying tickets online, yes
on a friday or saturday you need to advance purchase.
I've never had any luck buying tickets online, but you can go to the theater ahead of time, or if you have a smart phone you can use their apps. I've had success buying tickets through the lotte cinema iphone app ahead of time. |

There is a Korean movie playing at Konkuk Lotte theaters with english subtitles. Saw it weekend before last. Pretty funny. A little predictable but a couple of good twists in it. The guy who did the subtitles was quite good and did his homework.
If you want to see it, you should hurry because they're likely to pull it at any time. |

Thank you for that site! They offer a service to buy tickets for 1,000 won; seems pretty fair. Has anyone used them for this before?
Also, is there a way to find out upcoming movies as opposed to only what's playing now?
