On May 7th, share with the Camarata Music Company the dramatic, striking turns of Mozart's Requiem and the engaging syncopation of Quintana's Mass from Two Worlds in its Asian premiere!

The Requiem's mysterious history - popularized in the film Amadeus - is entertaining enough: the piece was left unfinished at the composer's untimely and controversial demise, to be finished by his student. It is thought that Mozart may even have written it to mourn himself! The full chorale and orchestra will present Mozart's last labor under the baton of Jennifer Stephens.

Far from the darkness of Requiem's story lies Quintana's Mass from Two Worlds. The composer, very much alive and well, drew ideas from many sources - South American rhythms to Renaissance polyphony - and has blended them into a musical kaleidoscope. The brand-new, audition-based CMC Chamber Singers' Choir, under the direction of Ryan Goessl, will give life to this piece for the first time ever in Asia!

Join us on May 7th, at 7:30 p.m. at Chungdong First Methodist Church. Tickets are 15,000 won in advance and 25,000 at the door.

For more information and tickets, visit www.camaratamusic.com or call 010-9806-8655 (English) / 010-2751-9675 (한국어) or e-mail [email protected]
