I check new posts a few times per day during the week and once or twice a day on the weekend.

I've noticed the number of these new posts increasing recently.

Anyone else thinking the same?

What gives? New publicity or advertising? Word of mouth?

If it gets too busy then I suggest throwing out the Off-Topic forum.

I think that during this time there are lot more new hirings so that brings people here.

I noticed it too. I couldn't believe it the other day when checking off-topic and every single post on the first page had a new comment. This was just after 8 hours of sleep.

Yeah, I check it twice during the week and the general conversation and off-topic page are already nearly on the 3rd. page after 2 days.

Busy is good. I do get satisfaction from keeping on top of the board though, and it is a bit hard to do if I miss a day or so.

Yeah, I noticed that as well. Quite a few new faces as well. Partly I think its because its April, and we�ll soon see a whole new batch of teachers coming across. For some reason with Spring in the air it sets people�s minds to wandering elsewhere. Summer is also good when school is out bringing a slightly younger crowd as well.

I tend to keep to titles that are relevant/interesting to me, but considering how poorly worded some of them are, I often need to glance through a few more than I intend to to make sure I don't miss too much.. :)
