Interesting. I bet the gang wave that swept the country in the 90's accounted for a lot of those murders and violent crimes.

And what about the 80's, 70's and 60's? People are so paranoid these days because of the crap they see in the media. Crime has been going down for a long time but people are more freaked out now than ever. Radius, do yourself a favor and stop watching these videos. You have the nerves of an 80 year old woman. Wink

What I saw was:

1) a disturbance where the police attempted to restrain a customer
2) the companion of said customer tried to stop the officer
3) the officer slapped the companion after which
4) the companion slapped the officer back which leads to
5) the officer punching the companion in the face and dragging her to the ground and handcuffing her.

Looks like open and shut police brutality. They'd better get a good lawyer Razz

Yes, because we all know the 90s were all happiness and sunshine, right? No riots, no shootings, no sex scandals.

And in all seriousness, both were pretty stupid. The girl should have never be pushing away the officer like that, but the officer should be smart enough to know smacking someone hostile in the face (even if it was not hard, but I can't tell how hard it was) is a good way to cause a fight.

Did anyone notice the brother in the background go "ooooooo" when the girl got hit?

So where are all the anti-black posters at Dave's? Seems the people of African-American descent were behaving themselves.

EDIT- After the slap the the brother aka Boba Fett kinda chuckle ooos at it but the punch is a different ooooo. Kinda like, "hahaha this cop had enough of the hysterical lady and smacked her" but the punch was just like "ooooo, that was uncalled for" I think Boba was spot on with that.

The girl should pursue this legally. The cop was out of line. overall crime is down from the 90's probably due to the waning of the crack epidemic.

Hm, it appears the negroidopithecus only acts like a non-violent barbarian while in the process of feeding.

the officer shoved her face to back her up because she had her hands all over him trying to stop him, and she starts swinging at him? she assaulted a police officer, she shouldn't have put her hands on him in the first place.

i'm not a big fan of cops, but come on, you shouldn't swing at an officer, that's just dumb.

Definitely excessive force.

Cops should only punch to the face when they are facing serious or life-threatening attack.......a girl pulling on his arm in an IHOP is not a serious or life-threatening attack.

If that happened in parts of my home city you would see about half the restaurant jump on the two cops and beat the living hell out of them.

I'm also amazed at how all four glasses of water on the table didn't spill! Laughing

I couldn't open the link but it's surprising how much force you can use and what actually is threatening behaviour.

I used to be a youth justice social worker one of my 'clients' threatened to take me out. A youth aid cop explained to me that if he even looked at me aggresively that was threatening behaviour and I could then defend myself.

I got questioned by my supervisor about what i would do if I saw him on the street. I said if he looked at me agressively I would hit him once and that would be all, I said it would only take one punch and I'd make it nice and clean. She said that was fine.

Also, I think Boba Fett aka Dick Stryder is about to get a lot more famous. You gotta love the random twists of fate that'll get a good soul like THe Hip Hop Stormtrooper his 15 minutes.

Back in the 30's and 40's, people respected the law....at least that's what my granpa tells me. They'd beat the crap out of you for looking at them the wrong way.

Watch the video again. The cop was squishing one of the ladies and the woman was trying to push him away in a non-threatening matter. The cop then swung at her (it's hard to see in the first video, but in the second it was not a easy shove). The cop is the one who started the fight.
