I've searched the forums a bit about the Janghanpyeong area. I have an interview for a job in that area and was wondering if it's still about the same. I was just seeing if it has changed any from these massage parlor days or not.
Also any recommendations on places in Seoul that are good areas?
Thanks! |

I live in the JHP and like it quite a bit. It is relatively close other places by subway and has a lot of good stuff, although it definitely isn't a nightlife destination.
There was a huge crackdown on the red light stuff a few years ago, I'm guessing a lot of it still goes down but it isn't in your face at all.
I'd say the best areas in seoul to live are sinchon, jamsil, hongdea, jongno or hbc/iteawon if youre big into the foreign scene. As long as youre in seoul you'll be ok though. |
