Hey everyone,
About how long does it take the Korean Immigration Office to process the E2 visa application? I've tried to answer my own question on the Net, and I've seen "4-10 days" and "within two weeks." If it's taking over two weeks, does that suggest you forgot to dot an "i" or cross a "t" somewhere? I turned in all the required docs with the notarizations and apostilles where necessary, so I don't anticipate any problems. But it was a time-consuming process, so it'll be awesome when I get all set up with that confirmation number.
Thanks in advance ~ ! |

the information that you found online was correct. Most of the time it will take around 4 days to a week, but in the heavy hiring seasons, early spring and late summer, it can take up to two weeks or so. |

Typically 4-10 BUSINESS days for the visa confirmation number to be released by immigration AFTER it has actually made it to the desk.
Most often it is processed within 4-5 days (except at peak time like Jan and June).
If it is taking longer than that the chances are strongly in favor of the delay by sitting on someone's desk (recruiter or school) rather than having actually made it to immigration.
