The young ladies I associate with like the more rugged look. When I see them on the weekends and I shave my face for work on Friday they don't like it (me?) as much compared to when I don't shave my face on Friday so what I have been doing is giving myself a real close shave on Thursday night so by the time the weekend comes I look better for them.

Here's where I need you to give me some advice. What if the powers that be at work complain that I haven't shaved? I don't want to let down the chicks on the weekend so I need some good excuses as to why I didn't shave....and don't tell me to shave because it's my job etc etc. I don't want to hear that garbage.

You need to find a more fun group of powers that be. 2nd semester last year, all the male teachers at my school had a beard growing contest. No other reason for it than just to have some fun.

You need to buy a fake beard. So you can look clean shaven for work and then when the weekend comes, boom, put on the fake beard.

If you can't afford a fake beard then maybe just save some of your shavings and get one of those glue sticks and just glue your shavings onto your face. Just make sure you don't use any of that industrial glue.

Probably can't afford a beard because all the juicy girls that tell him they like him unshaven are taking all his money.

Good point. I'm nearly broke. I can't wait until pay day. I won't spend as much money on them this time...although I have been saying that for the past 6 months. I mean it though. This time will be different.

Question: are these young ladies you associate with on the weekend Korean or foreign? (I'm assuming foreign since I've never met a young Korean girl who likes anything but a cleanly shaven face.)

Sorry but the Kurk Cobain look will not get you much respect in Korea both in and outside the classroom. It's best to either be clean shaved or grow a short neat tidy captains style beard.

They're just flattering you. They do it all the time. Korean girls do not like hair on the face. I've heard from them so many times.

What? Are you kidding? Captain Kurk was always getting with anyone who wasn't afraid to go where so many have gone before! White, black, green, blue, yellow... all of them powerless to resist.

Shave Thursday night. You'll be clean enough for work and it'll grow out enough for the weekend (if, you know, you're a man who can actually grow real facial hair Wink )
