Does it have any USB3 connectors?

How many memory banks are still empty in case one wanted to add some RAM?

Is your Win7 legit?

No usb 3.0
No empty spots for memory. There are two, and they will both be occupied.
I have a legit copy but that will be 50 extra.

it is a good price considering that he built it to sell, not to use. There cant be more than 50-75$ in his pocket for a building fee, that is pretty good imo.

how much time did you spend scouring websites and asking for advice on parts? you had a pretty long thread in the tech forum.

i'd rather pay someone a small fee to put it together.

sure, it is not hard to complete a build in under an hour, but you also have to consider the time spent getting the parts, at least a few hours, even if you just order everything online. If you figure that it took 4 hours total time to gather the parts and assemble the machine, he is making like 15-20 bucks an hour max.

as our friend triband has educated us, these parts can be had together for 580 or LESS. Honestly, I am not gaining anything from this build. As for the building part, its a hobby of mine and I like doing it. Updated with pics of the final product. I like it Very Happy

Mr. Joe Park,

What are the odds of you building an i5/i7 Sandy Bridge rig with, let's say, a radeon 5970/6990. What I mean is, a real beast of a machine.

With my crap rig slowly biting the dust I'd really be interested in investing in a machine that will stand the test of the next few years of time.

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,
B to the B

Hey I'm not knocking it, and the seller is upfront. This is his hobby, he isn't making much profit.

I scoured internet sites and asked questions because I wanted to educate myself and knowledge is power. I was out of the computer tech scene for a good 3-4 years (as you know everything has changed since 2007). Most of my time was spent deciding what I wanted/needed, the price hunting took like 30 minutes on danawa.

Now I am comfortable and secure in my knowledge.

Anyway, anyone who wants a decent rig and doesn't want to build it themselves, this is a good deal.
